    I bought this for my 1y/o male cat, and this is the perfect size for him. Other reviewers have noted that this set is easily moved around or “unstable,” and I can confirm that my average sized 10 pound cat has no problem scooting this around when he sets his mind to it, but it’s otherwise pretty stable. It’s also not really a white-white, it’s more of a cream color. Despite that, I really like the design, that it’s easy to clean, and that the bowls are the perfect size for an only cat.

    I basically ignored this dish for a long time. It sits on the floor and feeds the cat so who cares? Recently got a dog and the kitty dish moved to the counter and you know what? Its a very pretty little dish. The white portion needs to be wiped down periodically but all in all I’m happy to have it on my counter.

    When I got a cat for the first time, I didn’t know what kind of food/water dish to get so I purchased a plastic one that was kind of too big for her. It would have been more of a dog bowl, looking back. I bought this cute little pink one because the food dish is smaller than the water dish and represents the amount she actually eats so she doesn’t have to go diving for it. Also, cats have a very strong sense of smell and over time bacteria will collect in a porous plastic bowl, even if washed. Stainless steel is a cleaner option and hopefully she can taste the difference and will be more hydrated.When I mentioned this purchase to my Dad, he commented that we eat and drink out of plastic dishes all the time and don’t think it’s “bacteria infested.” I let him now that nothing is too good for my little Princess and she deserves the best. Especially since she has to eat the same thing every single day. Luckily, I don’t have to do that!

    The only bowl our cat doesn’t toss around. The base is heavy and the metal bowls can be removed to clean but they are hard for her to get her teeth on so she can throw them around the kitchen. I’m so pleased. She is still a jerk but at least she isn’t throwing her bowls in the floor anymore out of spite.

    This dish set exceeded my expectations. It really is the perfect combination of modern, adorable, and functionality. The stainless bowls are a bit thinner and lighter than I expected, but still thick enough that I’m not worried about dents if I drop one. I love that there are two different sizes as well for the bowls. The smaller one is perfectly sized for a single food portion and the larger allows for more water to be available at any given time. Plus it just adds even more to the great aesthetic of the set. The quality of the main piece that holds them is just fantastic as well with a beautiful slight tone to it and a great sheen. Bottom line is that I could not be more pleased with both the quality and look.

    I have lots of foster kitties with lots of bowls getting knocked over and when I saw this cute pink bowl set, I thought they’d be perfect for lowering the accidentally-kicked-over-the-water bowl incidents. And indeed, these bowls have not spilled water even once since I started using them. Because I feed all wet food, sometimes even with water added, my cats don’t drink too much water (I am with a cat rescue group and see time and time again dry food causing early kidney disease, obesity, cancer and a whole host of other lovely ailments); so I feed only wet food but know the importance of them staying adequately hydrated so I try to keep a variety of bowls available for them to drink from. I also have out glass, ceramic and other stainless steel bowls to encourage drinking but this little set is the only one that’s virtually spill-proof!

    I purchased this for my kitten because he was scooting the small individual bowls all around the kitchen when he ate or drank. His “Catit bowl,” as he knows it, helps with that problem. The base stays in one place, and it’s easy for me to tell at a glance when I need to refill his water and dry food.Another convenient aspect is that the two stainless steel basins can be lifted out of the base and cleaned or refilled. They’re easy to hand wash or put into the dishwasher, and they fit right into the base without moving around. At $7.95, this product is reasonably priced.

    Looks nice, I prefer the off-white color to plain white. I like that the bowls are easy to take out and put in, that they stay put while kitty is having his meal, and that they’re dishwasher safe. Milo seems to be happy with them and I expect to be able to keep using them for years.

    This is much smaller then any pictures show or would lead you to believe. But seeing how the bigger of my two dogs is a whole five pounds and her little nemesis is only 3 1/2 it’s all I need. It is not cheap plastic either!!! It feels like a solid feeling ceramic and the stainless steel inserts could be taken out and used without them if you wanted to add a tiny bit of room for more food or water. I like that I can take it out and clean it the water bowl without having to mess with the food bowl. Great Quality!!!
